What You Will Learn

Healing and transformation happens when we feel safe to inhabit our body.

Very often, due to prolonged stress, traumas or any other painful experiences we disconnect from ourselves and regulating our nervous system becomes harder.

What happens within your Autonomic Nervous System ( ANS) affects your thoughts, feelings, sensations and your total sense of being in the world. In short, your ANS creates the story that you are living.

Within this course we will:

  • Explore the workings of the ANS and its impact on your overall well-being.
  • Learn about the sympathetic and parasympathetic branches of the nervous system and their roles in stress response and relaxation.
  • Discover how the Yoga of Embodiment approach combines movement, breathwork, meditation, somatic practices and self-awareness to regulate the nervous system.
  • Explore the concept of embodiment and its connection to nervous system regulation.
  • Increase your window of tolerance to be present with unpleasant emotions so you can better navigate life’s challenges.
